The Moderators of a viking themed subreddit being racists? No way!
Adopt an admin has been a thing for a long time.
Basically they let moderators do the onboarding process for new admins for free.
I had a look behind the curtain, and admins have to do it on their free time, so they usually don’t show up.
The worst excuse ive seen from admins that joined but went radio silent was, that they expected communication happens on discord instead of the modmail.
Reddit is a through and through incompetent company, and it’s coming from the very top with spez. Admins that make decisions or speak up are getting replaced. The competent ones leave by themselves. The ones left are all scared and trying to please spez all day.
If you talk to them on camera, they all look like beaten dogs.
This user claims to have made an AI model with some tweeks “they will never know what i’ve done” and showing people how to set up their own local AI model.
I think this user just played with a Model, gave it a god complex, fed it with bible quotes and let it run rampant on 4chan.
I assume they’re just making more noise.
Reddit has been protecting russian bot farms for almost a decade now.
Sitewide, not statewide.
I left my subreddit of 10 million users behind when it became apparent that spez isnt better than musk.
Get a grip.
Traffic in big subreddits dropped up to 30% whenever there was some news that another huge botfarm was busted.

Based on a small search I did yesterday, exif data gets removed., or at least was about a year ago. I haven’t tested for myself though, so I won’t confirm.

I used a NAS and VLC for a long time. It’s pretty easy and works quite well if the meta data is correct.

Well, it being reddit I wouldn’t count out it being programmed so sloppy that it’s banning for simply logging in.
I’m most surprised that you assumed you wouldn’t get banned in the first place. Commenting there is no difference to commenting on his streams. I don’t get why people watch this asshole anyway.
This was happening since 2015 on a massive scale, in small and big subreddits, getting increasingly worse each year.
It has been so bad and easy to spot with simple bots, that there’s no other option that reddit’s owners are complicit.
That’s one of the big reasons I quit besides the 3rd party app they took off me.
They created something that is even worse than New.reddit? How is that even possible?
Is that the shreddit thing spez was gloating about a year ago for being lightning fast?
They started trying to convince mods about 2 years ago about the idea of earning money with their subs. The majority of mods weren’t amused in those calls I attended.
