  • Agreed, I wish Lemmy.world’s admins felt that way though. They’ll probably let dragonfucker get away with this forever. Even though it is very clear that these accounts are alts of dragonfucker, or very closely connected either way. And from what I can tell incitement of harassment from your friends is still just as bannable as doing it via alts. At least it absolutely should be.

  • I was able to contact him about it and he said he gave dragonfucker a warning and told him to stop, he said he wasn’t going to ban dragonfucker yet because then dragonfucker would just make another account. He also was in the spam defense channel when I posted about the latest harassment campaign against me. It’s really ugly. He and others there are almost certain it’s an alt of dragonfucker. Though obviously without internal data from feddit.rocks we won’t be able to prove that, and might not be able to anyway.

  • You aren’t a troll because you are trans, you are a troll because you make bad faith arguments, spread misinformation, harass people, and encourage others to commit suicide. I haven’t forgotten about your abusive tirade against me either, no matter how much you try to deny it.

Make no mistake, you are being called a troll for this:

And there’s way more where these came from, your modlog is a gift that keeps on giving.

Funny enough despite what you might claim, none of these have anything to do with being trans. You’re trying to pass any criticism of your behavior off as transphobic to try and discredit the people who are criticizing you. This is called a smear tactic, it is a common bad faith argument meant to deflect criticism. In this this case you are accusing anyone who criticizes you of being transphobic in hopes of discrediting or silencing them. This is not going to work here though because as is evident, the accusations of trolling being levied against you happen to have nothing to do with transness.

  • Chrome is something to be weary of since it has lots of vulnerabilities that allow easier fingerprinting beyond simply cookies. It’s better to not cause those issues for yourself. Otherwise Reddit wins and you play right into their trap.

  • It takes much less if you don’t use their app, all browser based tracking implementations use Cookies, and IP address (usually for aggressive ban evaders).

Their app contains much more aggressive tracking techniques, including a VPN bypass, so I wouldn’t install it on your device at all. It’s better to use the mobile site on Firefox with ublock origin, possibly with OldLander and RES to make the mobile site more usable.

  • Reddit uses browser cookies to identify people uniquely, they do that in addition to using the IP address associated which they may not always use to initiate a ban of the account.

Use a browser like Mullvad browser with a VPN or Tor browser to create and access a new account.

Also never use the Reddit official app, it has way more trackers than possible in a browser including a VPN bypasser built-in.

Also and this might be obvious, don’t use an email associated with any previous accounts. That’s a low hanging fruit they target easily.

  • Something that nobody mentions when they talk about dead internet theory that I think should be talked about is that the worthless engagement trolls that are real people, really do not and should not count as real people. They’re never going to give you worthwhile responses, they don’t add anything to conversations. Unless they see an opportunity to pick a fight they’re probably not even listening to you.

Therefore they’re not really any different than an AI run account that’s not going to acknowledge you. And in some ways they are much worse, despite being technically “real people”.
