The only reason I came here is because Reddit banned me, which is the same reason I suspect 99% of Lemmy users are here for
Most of us are here due to the API June 2023 events.

You can probably create a post on !fedibridge@lemmy.dbzer0.com
Maybe Discord indeed.
Good luck.
This post summarizes the issue with removing help posts: https://lemmy.dbzer0.com/post/47387855
Blocking on Lemmy works the same way it used to work on Reddit. It changed on Reddit since then: https://lemmy.world/post/27359094
If mods don’t act, you can document their inaction on !yepowertrippinbastards@lemmy.dbzer0.com
A few things
Consider not deleting your posts, especially the ones asking for help, that’s considered bad practice: https://lemmy.dbzer0.com/modlog?userId=19680232
Consider https://piefed.social/ , it has actual blocking, so users you block won’t see your comments or posts
Also please report toxic comments, mods usually take action fast, and that allows to ban toxic users rather than lose content

Login walled on Vimeo, probably aligned with the future Digg policies

And with drafts, what you start writing for comments will be automatically saved if you want to return to it later.
Amazing. /s

Maybe with the next reddit screw-up, that will happen, hehe.
Let’s hope

Hey,
I was the one recommending this community. Seems like there are 3 or 4 posts a day, so it doesn’t seem like adding beginner posts would be an issue.
Lemmy has a smaller userbase, there isn’t enough people for very niche communities.
Also, feel free to join !fedigrow@lemm.ee

Technical dialogs (the only variant of useful dialogs) are impossible here.

Hopefully lemmy will be there eventually, but for now lots of communities with thousands of members on reddit have hundreds or dozens on lemmy.
I see where you come from, but Reddit subscribers are usually inflated, and you don’t need thousands of people to answer a question
Thank you for yours!
The instance and communities bans seems to indicate they are indeed getting repulsed
triggered the community to make a 196 community on .world
Triggered the mods to try to move the community to .world without even asking the community members first
Have you tried Piefed?
Piefed solves the fragmentation issue by offering a consolidated comment view: https://piefed.zip/post/100161
All comments from 5 crossposts in a single view
