I think it really depends on what your code is doing. I do agree that less isn’t always faster or as they mentioned in the post, safer. Taking a raw input is fast, but not very safe for a variety of reasons. I personally make “simple to understand” as the highest priority for my code.

I’ll remember to keep that for the first nice day in Spring.
You can have certain jobs run based on what directories or files were modified. If projectA was the only one modified, it can run just projectA’s tests.
It tests passing is a requirement of merging, then you should set the tests as required.

Maybe they aren’t updating enough which leads to larger issues. Had a problem in the past updating NextCloud too slowly and stuff broke.
I’m sure you are making a joke, but if not, Cursor is an AI focused IDE.
C++ has
auto, which determines the type automatically.
I’m guessing they aren’t happy that QA and their SRE is putting in automated tools to prevent them from causing crashes in prod with their AI slop code.
Did you read the post? The author was complaining about websites who use just the IP instead of the header.
Its because the senior Dev doesn’t know how it works either. He inherited the project from another team.

It’s why they have a report feature. No idea how well they moderate things tho.
