I have made a post where I ask the AI what that was about and it gave me the impression that you could do one appeal every 6 months. But really I’ve only been banned for 4. I see people talk about being banned before even one post from a year ago and the person’s other account and you look at their account and it’s still up. So what could be happening there? I mean I know admitting to it can get you caught. And there does seem to be some saying they got their account back.

2 yearsReddit has a way bigger and open community than Lemmy.

2 yearsI think I just did attempt another appeal and it went through.
So I’ve been ban from Reddit for 4 months now and got my first appeal denied. It does say you can appeal within 6 months I don’t know if that means if you don’t get your account back your basically done or does it mean what ChatGPT thinks it means. That after 6 months I can try another appeal. I really want to get back on Reddit. I mean really it’s way more strict than Facebook I think. But I really do miss Reddit like a lot and this would be a relief if I have a second chance.

2 yearsReddit is definitely a lot more bigger community than Lemmy. So I kind of miss Reddit because it created real communities for me.
It’s been a long time since I’ve been ban from Reddit in May so it’s been over a month. Could it be possible that they just forget who you are. I found one post talking about getting permanently ban that was 5 months old on an account still active. What ways could I get around a Reddit ban? Probably like use an email that doesn’t use my name I guess and don’t be too obvious. But yeah Reddit has permanently ban me and I’ve basically tried everything I could with other accounts. So there does seem to be a way around the Reddit ban and it seems like partly luck and making sure Reddit doesn’t remember you.

2 yearsJust looking at the Lemmy rules I think Reddit might be a bit more open.
So ban me over my pro-Palestine stance and well the rule I broke was basically depicting child abuse/neglect. But that as well has me going cause it’s like when it comes to the war how can it really be define as child abuse to show how the children of Palestine are suffering. Anyway I hate reddit so much right now and have even tried created other accounts which yeah reddit is able to find out even the account I sign up with my phone number. I for real will miss reddit but I don’t think there’s anyway to get my account back unless I move to another home or whatever. Either way now I’ve run out of ways to actually create another account sadly. So this is my first post on this site and yeah I think I do like reddit better.

And now I just got chatGPT telling me that after 6 months it’s indefinitely. So yeah that sucks.
