Kinda off topic but I’m saddened the stupid thumbnail face made its way to peertube

Nay, unless it’s done by CDProjekt (The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077)
Maybe with a gamepad it’s fine, but with keyboard and mouse, moving on foot in GTA IV and V feels really bad, as if you’re pulling a trailer
I also shelved it 2 years ago after about 15h, but right now it feels fine with these mods (the pacing is still a bit slow but not annoyingly slow)

I gave another chance to Red Dead Redemption 2, it still feels like a chore simulator to me, but thanks to the mods to improve QoL, I can enjoy the main missions (which already take quite some time) without worrying about the rest
I don’t like how the game forces me to do missions in a certain way though
Finnish culture ? How about us Celts ? 🍻
Edit: meaning Modern Celts
… and better (except for bad ports)
I just finished Outcast: A New Beginning yesterday, odd but nice AA exploration RPG-lite game which felt under the radar despite good presentation
I’m doing a 180° from sci-fi TPS with modern graphics and starting Victor Vran to scratch the fantasy/Torchlight itch
- tatann@lemm.eetoGaming@beehaw.org•What's your "this is totally fine and I'm going to have a great time" FPS (refresh rate). ?1 year
60 FPS, I can’t stand an unstable framerate, I prefer to lower quality/effects if I can’t get constant 60 FPS
I’d personally prefer to have an OS dedicating to playing, one I can’t broke by installing too many stuff or, on the hand, I could reinstall quickly without having to reinstall all the other stuff (printer, cloud syncing, etc…)
So having a multi-boot for gaming and regular (although rare) computer use. There’s a good chance I’ll still sadly have a Windows boot option for some multiplayer online games (anticheat 😐)
