If it takes 20 minutes to bake them at 250 degrees, it should only take two minutes at 2500 degrees!

I have a decade old lenovo yoga that still lasts like 40 minutes unplugged. Idunno how much a UPS that can supply a desktop for that long would cost, nor if that’s an embarrassingly short time, but it works well enough for me
I almost added that, but I’ll be real, I have no clue what a junior programmer is lmao
For all I know it’s the equivalent to a journeyman or something
“Programmers are cooked,” he says in reply to a post offering six figures for a programmer
This is a job for water detectors, which I have no qualms about connecting to the internet. They have the added benefit of detecting leaky pipes as well
Personally I would much rather touch my phone with my dirty hands than a toilet handle
I have become the red shirt from my favorite SMBC comic
However, my feelings regarding smart devices remain intact
Day 3,801 of thanking God I was born a Luddite
Anyone who thought their toilet would be improved by having an internet connection deserves this
For me, it’s that the app I use does not have the chat feature. I’m 99% certain this is just an attempt to push out the revanced users
BCBS reversed their decision to not cover anesthesia like a day after Thompson got deposed. It turns out direct action is actually effective
I’m not just okay with it, I endorse it as much as Brandenburg v Ohio allows me to. People should be out there bringing actual justice to legal mass murderers.

They could simply not work for a fascist. That’s what I’m doing, and I’m doing fine
It depends on where you live. Some regions have a limited list of acceptable names, some places just have limited lists of unacceptable names, but I can’t find anywhere that explicitly bans Null.
It does suck to be named Null, though. It’s like two steps down from not being given a social security number as an infant

At this point, I check every comment I leave on the platform in an incognito window. A good half of them get shadowremoved for no reason. How do they not get that new users are going to leave if nobody reads, votes on, or replies to their comments?
I’ve had like 5 comments shadowremoved from the conservative subreddit because I guess the large oceanographic feature south of the United States gets caught in their word filter, and they hate the Constitution
What’s your favorite brand of motor oil?
I’m not linking to the Reddit garbage.
For anyone else who wants to see the reddit garbage: https://www.reddit.com/r/AITAH/comments/1hrg3z1/aitah_for_not_attending_my_sisters_wedding
Some old accounts in there too. Sad to see people who were around back when reddit was good had their account compromised like this
I do have to wonder how many of those millions of users are bots. Browsing /r/all, you can find plenty of weird pseudopornographic subreddits like /r/ReallyGorgeous, which are populated by literally thousands of bots upvoting and commenting on fake selfies posted by the most obviously stolen accounts. Report these accounts all you want, the admins don’t care.

That’s great for the larger communities, but a lot of us stay on reddit for the tiny subreddits specific to one piece of media. The only two active online spaces where I can discuss my various decades-old anime are Reddit and MAL’s forums, and lord knows I ain’t using MAL’s forums
It’s fine as long as you like your cookies with a crispy carbonized outer shell, and a raw doughy center
