All the fuss and arguments between people who want to promote lemmy and the people who refuse to genereate more traffic for reddit and I can’t even see the join-lemmy art with the entire thing zoomed out.
I use the old.reddit extension on firefox to force it. I haven’t been on there for a while now so not sure if it still works.
Is it available on old.reddit? A lot of people here who refuse to give reddit traffic in the first place also prefer old.reddit and don’t want to use the new interface.
The only thing with kbin is the lack of a mobile app. A lot of newer reddit users don’t even know there’s a website. It might be hard to convince those users to switch to kbin if it doesn’t have a mobile app.
Saw him in person at Defcon years ago. He was very personable and was happy to talk to anyone. RIP
With mlmym.org, I don’t even need old.reddit anymore to get the same feeling while browsing lemmy.
Yup, I have the beta versions of voyager, memmy, and mlem on my phone and just alternately switch to whichever app gets a new update; or if one happens to be buggy or unstable.
