I always really liked JavaScript, but I’m not a software developer. I guess that’s probably the difference between me and folks who actually need to write production code with it.

1 yearThe worst is making it about intelligence. Most of the time, the stuff that is “obvious” is not so obvious to most people. Being an arrogant fool about it only makes things worse.
I was gonna say, if this person is making $145k, they are not a “junior” in any realistic sense of the term. It would be nice if computer programming and software development became a legitimate profession.


My favorite was to make it “crisp”. My boss was sympathetic when I joked about it being “crispy and delicious” but he still acted like we basically should have known what that means.
