Meaningful friction my beloved

I left reddit about the time they introduced /r/popular and I recall the announcement mentioning that they would remove /r/all eventually. It’s been a long time, but this was coming.

I’ve been using it since it was called Revolt and quite like it, albeit I’ve never used the voice feature. My group doesn’t really have the need for it, but I can see it being a deal breaker for the self-hosted version.

I switched from gnome to niri and I really like the new workflow, however I’m having an issue in which some games won’t go full screen or won’t resize after changing the resolution. Sometimes rebooting my computer fixes the issue tho.

I had a friend who was a true believer in Stadia, he even sold his gaming PC as he was gaming in Stadia full time.

When Stadia shut down he told me “at least I get to keep the controller”

580 is LTS tho, you’ll get security patches for a few years at least

My employer hired a consultancy company to implement some terraform and ansible code for some cloud infra and we got in return hundreds of machine generated code lines that do not work and now are suing the consultant.

Worst part, is that the guy who reviewed this ended up writing everything himself

I tried then first N characters of my password until I found out the threshold was at 8, then I tried with the first 8 chartacters of my password and then random junk and it worked.

I also had two friends in the same bank to validate

a previous bank used to have a max password length of 8 characters, then proudly announced that they will increase it to 32

Then I made a typo at the end of my password and it let me in anyway, and I realised they were just trimming the first 8 characters to give the illusion of security

I love Minisforum, I own 2 of them and I’m looking to buy a 3rd one. But damn their website is atrocious
