I didn’t understand, why not use nginx? It has built in support for let’s encrypt by default, you just have to activate it in the nginx config. https://nginx.org/en/docs/http/ngx_http_acme_module.html

Reddit@lemmy.world•Top post of Reddit. We are gonna see large influx of users.
1 yearI just checked, and while it isn’t in the new account list, it is in the login list in Voyager. And, also, you can just type any url into the login form in Voyager if the server isn’t listed.

Selfhosted@lemmy.world•PasswordManagement: which one of these options would you choose?English
3 yearsWhy not Keepass on a webdav server? Both Keepass on the computer and Keepass2Android can open the file directly. If you save it on one it will merge the changes in any other copies you have open.

Reddit@lemmy.world•Anti-Evil Operations accidentally revealed a random admin account.
3 yearsReddit got caught unprepared by the protests, they are probably working on a shadow mod feature and forgot to hide it from the log. Deleting an already removed post is a fairly inconspicuous way to demo the feature.

Reddit@lemmy.world•Reddit Mod permabans user for using "female" in post title, proceeds to obliterate all criticism before locking the thread calling them out. Akwardtheturtle reincarnated?
3 yearsNot only is “female” a dirogitory way to refer to a human woman, but it has been widely know since at least the late '80s. Why do you think the Ferengi in Star Trek:TNG use the term? People at the time weren’t confused, they knew immediately that the Ferengi were sexist.
I use shaarli https://github.com/shaarli/Shaarli It doesn’t sync with the browser but there is an android app for quickly storing links.

Reddit@lemmy.world•Power Deleted...but shadow posts are apparently a thing.English
3 yearsMeaning that posts aren’t actually removed, just set to deleted in the database. Also means that they don’t use that deleted flag in the database query, instead filtering out the deleted posts after they have been retrieved, which in my mind would be a less efficient way to do it.
It means “Yes, that is the correct question to ask. Really think it through because we don’t have an answer for you.”
It means “Yes, that is the correct question to ask. Really think it through because we don’t have an answer for you.”

Can I ask, how do you detect that?
