Well, from my experience working with android xml guis is soul crushing. While QML is much more pleasant, and it is kinda like json, but not quite.

Close your eyes and try to remember where key “b” is located in your keyboard. If you can’t, keyboard is dysfunctional. Yeah, they pulled this argument out of their ass.
Sadly, it is not how it is for me. I’ve never (in last 20 years) experienced freezes that bad and that frequent as with my new beefy Linux PC.
