Paid off old nuclear is cheap but unsafe. New nuclear is the most expensive power there is, and takes forever to build and the result is not guaranteed to be reliable. Unless you’re Russia, or China.
And it’s unclear where you’ll be getting your fuel, nor is it guaranteed in future.

I was never banned. I stopped participating after the API debacle. I still read on sub daily via old.reddit.com but it is busily dying. It will probably be dead before they kill off old.reddit.com.

In a sense. There was a varying threshold technical bareer of entry to BBS, ARPANET/Internet, email, Usenet (uucp over dialup for early adopters), mailing lists, forums and communities like Hacker News, even early Reddit and Digg.
I’ve been online since early 1990s and this is my repeated empirical experience that communities with a technical entry threshold self-select for technical users initially.
Most social network users are already hopelessly confused by the concept of federation and need to pick up an instance.
Early adopters and technical users are more likely to be free/libre users.

Are you including nuclear power in renewable or is that a particular provider who claims net 100% renewable?
I never had a reason to use Windows outside of job requirements. If I bothered I could find a job without such requierements.

Way back when we didn’t have X we just lived in the CLI console, text mode, no bitmap buffer. Then, when X came up you used the rodent to point at xterm windows. If you’re used to OS X, wait, MacOS, you’re going to try recreating equivalent functionality on Linux, which seems a lot of work. Have you looked into adding a trackpad?
