Can you elaborate on what you didn’t like about what you’ve seen so far? I imagine most guides advise you to spin up an AIO instance of nextcloud in docker.

Open Source@lemmy.ml•Komi-store: Android app store to install and update apps hosted on GitHub, Codeberg & Forgejo
4 daysCame out in Dec 2025 as Github store and changed their name with this release. How does this have 15K stars compared to Obtainium’s 17K which has been around since 2022 and is very well known.

3 monthsI’ve been using this for a long time. The firefox extension and relatively low resource usage is what differentiates it from similar options I’ve tried.

Selfhosted@lemmy.world•I wrote a blog post on selfhostesd software to be more organizedEnglish
4 monthsAnything that runs windows can probably run Linux and work well enough for self-hosting. But you’re getting ahead of yourself with worrying about hardware.
Easiest way to start is to find something that you want to try selfhosting that is relatively simple and use WSL within windows to familiarize yourself with Linux/networking/docker.
Once you’re far enough along to know what your needs are, then you can start thinking about the hardware to meet those needs.

Selfhosted@lemmy.world•Sonarr and the codecs/formats...what am I missing?English
5 monthsSounds like the custom format isn’t working. A screenshot might help.
That is a really good use case.
Got it. Never even thought about looking into books when I was getting into the hobby. It was all just searching and following online guides. I am curious if there’s anything out there other than the typical linux/networking stuff.
Guys, OP is asking for recommendations for books about self-hosting, not recommendations on how to self-host books.
I’ve been on purelymail.com for a couple of years. Receive about 1000 emails a month and send out about 50. Averaging around $0.40/month. They also have a flat rate option of $10/year as long as you don’t abuse the system.

That would be great to see and at a competitive price point.

It’s not necessarily about ARM. Based on their statements, they’re looking for >75% performance increase at similar power levels and cost. That spec doesn’t exist today and going forward, ARM will probably have a better shot at meeting that spec than AMD (depending on continued development of FEX).

Selfhosted@lemmy.world•Try BentoPDF if you haven't / are unhappy with StirlingPDFEnglish
8 monthsI saw this in the selfhosted newsletter and decided to give it a shot. I liked stirling but also found it slow. My first reaction after trying Bento was “this is magic, how does this work?”
I have it running on a pi4 now.

Also trying the flatpak version might be worth a shot.

Helldivers HDR works with this release without the gamescope workaround needed for experimental. Proton-cachyos has issues getting HDR to work properly in other games like 007 too and GE11-1 has gotten HDR working properly in every game I’ve tried so far.
