Worms aren’t insects, but I agree they are definitely important
If pollinators weren’t necessary, human food wouldn’t be affected too much. But given we eat plants (and the animals we eat eat plants) hunter-gathering would have the same problem as just continuing farming. Can’t gather if there are no plants, can’t hunt if the prey starved to death.
They know they are important, so they be assholes knowing we can’t do anything about it
I would say It’s not really the loss of bugs in general that cause the food chain to collapse, but the loss of pollinating insects specifically that really causes problems.
Are they trying to code every possible chess position??
