I only use reddit/YouTube on desktop (Niche Hobbies).
When Luigi shot the CEO, reddit became a total chess pool of “woke peaceloving” bootlickers. Then you say something and get banned.

I miss some of the bots. Remember-Me or Haiku-Bot have been my favourite ones.
I am a little afraid when those ignorant tools flood Lemmy. But maybe there will public block lists for all the bots, actors and idiots.
Ai is nice for code snippets that you don’t have to look up any more. I switch between C and Python regularly and some days, coming back from a month of Python, I just need some reminders on how brackets work.

Half the posts on the Front Page here would get the user banned on reddit. Free speech my ass. The app was the shot to the heart but this is the shot to the head for me. Reddit is dead for me.
I use reddit for special interests. There are some subreddits which are unmatched sources in terms of expertise. Be it a game I am currently obsessed by or serious job related discussions about the newest embedded tech…

Was a Member since 2012… it all went downhill 2016 when 4Chan-Stormfront-Nazis “grew up” and moved over to reddit. Man I hope these people taste their own medicine better sooner than later.

Teams and the entire Office-Package is pure pain on Linux. We have mixed OS (based on preference) but we all use Office and it’s a dread for our SW-Department. =[
