  • I agree with the article. Why cater games towards a crowd that doesnt want the game. Just stop it. Fuck EA and fuck companies like Activision/blizzard for dumbing down RPGs so Normie’s might like them. You’re ruining the experience for people who want to an RPG and making it “tolerable” for people who dont. The end result will always be a mixed bag, a mixed bag of shit.

Just let them play call of duty or FIFA and let the people who enjoy RPGs play RPGs with good story and RPG elements. You’re not doing anyone a favor by making an unenjoyable mediocre bag of shit.

  • As far as remasters go I think it’s pretty good.

Don’t expect a 2025 game in terms of mechanics and level design. For it’s time Oblivion was a very good game. This is a polished version of the original with updated graphics and somewhat modernised combat and movement. They ironed out a lot of clunky mechanics and bugs too.

As far as remasters go the GTA ones were absolute dogwater just like warcraft 3 remastered. This one is very good and imo comparable with the command and conquer remasters.

I dont think they could have done much more without making the game completely different.

  • They’ve been X tier for a while now. A lot of people have been (shadow)banned just for having opinions that don’t fit reddits narrative. Also better not disagree with any mods since that’s basically an instaban.

It’s sad since I was on reddit since the beginning. First Imgur turned completely to shit and now Reddit has become a dystopian hellhole. I just couldn’t deal with all the shitty practises and enshittification it went through. Also all the subs I liked were filled with bots and reposts ad nauseum.

Honestly I like lemmy way better BECAUSE it has less shitty people on it. Way more meaningful discussion and less shitty one liner “LOL LOOK AT ME IM FUNNY” dumbass comments.

  • Well basically the same things that makes other Europeans mad at the USA. USA has proven to be unreliable in about everything (climate, trade, stability, economics).

Honestly the only positive is that the EU is finally stepping up and getting rid of our dependance on the US.
