This is the endgame, isn’t it? Just a matter of time.
Our posts being sold to AI companies paid for those.
At least the number of times I have to use the Clean Java Language Workspace in VS Code has declined recently. I mean, I still have to, just not as often.

1 yearI left and deleted my account. My content should have been deleted, and not useable for AI training, but who knows.

1 yearHey, now. Seven bits per character were good enough for Granddad, they should be good enough for you.
Digg picked the right time for a comeback.

1 yearI’ve never regretted deleting my Reddit (paid) account. And every day brings more confirmation I did the right thing.

Reddit@lemmy.world•Reddit reverses the NSFW sub banning, blaming it on a bugEnglish
1 yearDry run, I assume.
I thought most of the closed subs were forced back open by mass firings and replacement of the mods. I visit a couple of local subs but without an account so my view of Reddit isn’t what you’d see as a member.

I was developing 30 years ago and I love what’s available today. Nostalgia is fine, as far as it goes, but things change and sometimes for the better. This is one of those cases.

Reddit@lemmy.world•Question: People who still frequent Reddit, has it gone back to business as usual or are the protests still having effect?English
3 yearsThat’s what I’ve experienced as well. My home feed is stagnant and r/all has lots of subs I’ve never seen. I spend much less time there and I’ve stopped upvoting anything. I dropped Premium in June since it’s clear /u/spez doesn’t need the money anymore now that 3rd party apps aren’t sucking him dry.

You can subscribe to an account on another instance, but you can’t get all of the posts on another instance without having an account on that instance.

I’d be interested at seeing what cooking chicken at 600C would do, but my oven goes less than halfway.
