Yeah, I think what went wrong and now everything is installed through Docker.
Docker feels like a huge security problem to me.

In my case, my GPU (Nvidia 1060 something) has problems with Linux, games don’t run as well as on Windows by a huge margin.
Yes and no.
Money is currency that’s recognized by the state. Crypto is not.
But now my country (Italy) is making you pay taxes if you own crypto.
So, in a way, it’s recognised?
If you want to go on the restic route, you can try BackRest: it’s a web interface for restic with graphs and all.
Why would you use SSDs for backup? I think a HDD should be fine for that.
Especially because SSDs start losing data is they’re powered off for some time.
I also use Hetzner, but with restic (through the web interface BackRest) instead of borg.
Is restic fine? Or should I migrate to Borg?
+1 for Hetzner Storage Boxes, even thought with the general increase in pricing for hardware I don’t know how long they’ll be able to keep them so cheap.
To back up the data automatically, I use BackRest (it’s a nice web interface that uses restic under the hood).
Yeah, I still miss classic subreddits such as jailbait and watchpeopledie. Those were the wild west of the internet. Nowadays Reddit is just a stupid website.

You can’t use the $99/year plan for that. The authorized client only works as a desktop application on Windows and MacOS.

Always been important. But now it’s more important than ever
Sorry to burst your bubble, but removing the login form via CSS is just a cosmetic effect and it doesn’t have any effect on your security, since bots will try to brute force the login directly using the login endpoint.
Jellyfin also now has apps for most common TV OSes: webOS, some Samsung models (more to come as soon as Samsung approves them), Android TV.
Two random things you may already know, but just in case:
Speaking of Nextcloud, if you use for backing up photos, have you tried Immich?
I agree with you. But AI is not the solution, unfortunately.
AI made it easier to write code, but it’s code that you can’t trust.
Pro-tip: if you need the Adobe suite, give Affinity a try. It works perfectly well on WINE, there’s even a ready-made AppImage on GitHub so you don’t need to configure anything. Just click and run.
I’ve been using Linux for more than 20 years. I’ve started with Ubuntu, then I’ve used Arch for a long time, then back to Kubuntu, then… I’ve recently switched to Mint.
I need to do work and not worry about anything: Mint is super clean, fast, with old school GNOME vibes (GNOME 3 is utter shit).

To be honest, it wouldn’t take much for distro maintainers to detect that and stop it
I know, but your security then depends on the package maintainer to keep the image up to date
