I doubt one in twenty people I meet outside even use a computer regularly.

My issue with Stardew Valley content updates is that they change how the game works. It is not just adding extra postgame missions or something. The content updates tend to fundamentally change how some things work. Your possible/preferred routes to reach endgame today are much different than they were in 2016. It makes it feel like perpetual Early Access.

I am becoming the same way. Maybe I am just old, but I miss the days of buying something and having a finished product. Instead, we have games like this and Stardew Valley that release in an incomplete state and are still receiving major content updates almost a decade later.
The amount of times I used to quickly type
dnf udpatewas ridiculous. Now, I know I can justdnf up.
From their FAQ:
##What platforms does Zed support?
As of now, we only support macOS.
We are a small team, so it’s critical for us to be laser-focused. As a startup, one of our key priorities at this early phase is learning, and right now, we’re focused on the following questions:
- What are the key features we need to get traction on any platform?
- Are our assumptions about our eventual business model valid?
While we’d love to support users on Linux and Windows, adding those platforms doesn’t really help us answer those questions. We’re investing a lot to make Zed portable, but adding other platforms comes with opportunity cost in the short-term and maintenance overhead going forward. Right now those costs don’t make sense for us.
As Zed matures on a single platform, this cost/benefit ratio will shift, and it will make sense to expand to other platforms. We hope you’ll give it a try when that happens.
As a general timeframe, you can expect us to begin work on supporting these platforms after Zed is open source, but before version 1.0. Any news will be posted to our platform-tracking issues.
Linux support is listed on their roadmap.
Interesting prebuilt brand to feature.
I just wish the Flatpak had a more keyboard/controller friendly UI. Seeking around the current video using KB/controller is fine, but navigating the UI to pick what to watch pretty much requires a mouse.
EDIT: Just change the display mode! Settings > Display > Display mode > TV

Reddit@lemmy.world•This got me banned from Reddit Event with u/Spez (Steve Huffman) LOL
3 yearsWho is that comment even aimed at? Being that it is right under OP’s comment in (what I presume to be) a busy chat, I doubt it is a response to OP.

Why Ubuntu over Fedora?
- How is this different from how gold currently works?
- What is that about a $50 upvote?

Selfhosted@lemmy.world•Does "Selfhosted" mean you actually have a server at home?English
3 yearsYou definitely don’t control the hardware. Someone else at some remote server farm or something does.
I’m so glad Infinity just shows the actual account name instead of usernames full of emojis and stuff

I have used this as a drop-in replacement, with no complaints.
