Also some of the libraries I use aren’t even supported on windows. I know a bunch of node libraries that I had to change in project repos to accommodate engineers using windows specifically. Windows is shit

You have to install extra crap to get the terminal to work like unix and I always had to fight with it to install things. Not worth the time. Maybe if you don’t need a terminal though?

Not all AI code is so obvious though. Especially if you give it detailed instructions on what to do exactly. It could be very hard to tell in some cases

We had some super old code in our company monorepo that was written by someone who became the CTO, there was a comment forbidding people from writing private methods in the code base because “we aren’t babies”. It explained so much about the awful code and why everything was crazy.
It’s funny because I learned to program with strongly types languages and when I moved over to JavaScript I always complained about it for the longest time but now that I use mostly typescript at work I kind of miss some of the old JavaScript patterns and their flexibility. But for working with large teams or large projects in general it’s nice to have typescript
Yeah but even then they should be writing secure code anyways so it doesn’t matter if someone reads it. It’s just ui code. It’s always readable

I have a bunch of mini Linux computers too and they have mostly normal buttons but they are tiny. Probably too tiny for toes.
