Guys, I’m using this HDD (ST8000NM000A-2KE101) as a parity drive in a snapraid configuration, most of the time it is in spin down mode. A couple of days ago scrutiny shown a failed status with ‘command timeout’. Do you think it could be a real problem or is it because of the recovery time from the spin down status?

Fujitsu motherboard
Intel pentium G5600
6 HDD (4 x 4 TB 2 x 8 TB) spinned down
2 SSD for proxmox
6 CT and no VM for now

it runs at 16W mostly idle

I tried proxmox with a Ryzen 1400, a GTX1060 Ti, 3 HDD, 1 NVMe. On proxmox I had a couple of VM and 1 CT. I had 70W on idle which is too much for me :)
