For now you can use RedReader to circumvent their app.

I already know I will never play this game, could you elaborate for me?
I also have a steam deck, don’t like to play without buttons, so phone is a no go and the steam deck screen is too big for such pixelated games, so I got myself a RG35XX for 50€ from AliExpress and am super happy with it. It plays anything up to the PS1.

Programming@programming.dev•Which language you wish would really grow and reach mainstream adoption?
3 yearsWhere kind I find statistics for this?
People asking this often forget that spending less time online is an option as well. I would say I was pretty addicted to reddit doomscrolling between 3 and 8 hours per day. I exclusively use Lemmy now and doomscrolling just does not work here, so I spend 30-60 min per day here and have much more time to read books now, something I wanted to pursue more for a long time.
I just hate this corporate talk. I know they are lying, they know they are lying, so why not be honest for a change? That would be the very first step for me to even consider using reddit again.

The only major reason I can think of is people playing on PC and Steam Deck, using the cloud save to play on both. Sometimes I want to play the same game on the big screen and sometimes in bed.

Gaming@beehaw.org•Starfield review controversy traces game journalism's orbital decay
3 yearsExactly, it feels like 50/100 is the baseline and 75/100 is mediocre. 75/100 tells me I have to be a fan of the genre to enjoy it. This rating inflation really shows how dependent reviewers are. This is one of the reasons I like organisations like Stiftung Warentest instead of depending on some biased product comparison blogs.
How do I find input profiles and how do I install them? Only way I am doing it right now is first to install the game and then looking in the controller settings if there is a community profile.
I I have been programming with Matlab for 8 years and am switching to Python. I’m focusing on deep learning applications and have been using ChatGPT to answer general questions about Python as interactive documentation. Would you say Copilot would be better for this use case or only better when I am a bit more advanced with Python?
Can you give an example how you use copilot? Why is it better than using chatgpt and how exactly do I use it?
“repressed” would be more fitting as many users are even angry that mods are moderating less strict. They don’t want to hear that it’s gotten more difficult to moderate without the tools, they just want to fuel their addiction and carry on as before.

Reddit@lemmy.world•Question: People who still frequent Reddit, has it gone back to business as usual or are the protests still having effect?
3 yearsThe tutorial works for me as well, but keep in mind that RiF is not being actively developed anymore, so as he said you can still use it until it breaks.
As a European, the increasing cynicism and apathy to American politics of many users has made me really bad mood, maybe I should have cured my feed better, but now it doesn’t matter anymore as lemmy is my new home.

I never installed Linux myself, only used it for a bit, so what do you have to do to not be a complete noob? This is only a half serious question, but what do you think you have to do, to be a proficient Linux user? This sounds a bit like when I got my master’s degree and did not have the feeling that I know anything or have learned valuable skills, but to someone with only a high school diploma I would look rather proficient.
