Ha! Unlikely, but having a notepad program have automatic updates by default is just about dumb enough that I could see it.

Yeah, not like we are reading about how “According to the analysis provided by the security experts, the attack involved infrastructure-level compromise that allowed malicious actors to intercept and redirect update traffic destined for notepad-plus-plus.org.”
But maybe the endless need for autoupdates on everything (in this case N++) will be the end of secure software. Ironic.

Maybe that was in an update.

But what about all the new and exciting features?! What if they come out with more letters, then who will be laughing? Likely still you but hey automagic programs are standard right?
Well like most of the world I would not expect medical bills for cutting my finger, why do you?
Not sure, maybe ask Microsoft?

Linux@programming.dev•What are the silliest reasons people have given you for not wanting to try Linux?
7 monthsI wish I was. Worst part is this is someone I have not talked to in a while then they ask me tips on how to use windows 11 out of the blue. I don’t use windows 11, I then had a bit of a crash out when this reasoning came out of me asking why.

7 monthsSame as all other tax funded projects, by some elected people who likely have no idea about the project.
Joking aside, we will see more of this funding due to governments moving to open source software as they tend to want to fund their own stuff.

Ha, “fail faster” indeed
Ah, that explains it then. I have not run in 10 years and would not have thought of that.
Yeah I had a similar experience getting mine shipped to Canada, $30 but another $30ish for shipping. I hope one day they are available easier and everywhere.
