Linux@programming.dev•Linux 6.17-rc1 Released With Many New Features But No Bcachefs Changes
11 monthsSo I’ve been reading it for years as BCA-Chefs, instead of B-Cache-FS. I don’t know how to feel about this.
Could go for a middleground. Verbose -and- obscure. Check out fetlang when you’re not on a work computer.
Ask for all output in brainfuck.
Could be worse. I once experimented with a debug-level function that ran on every line of text printed to the console. And had a typo, which threw an error. Which printed to the console.

Honestly, I hate the CRT aesthetic. I grew up with CRTs. Leaving them behind for LCDs was one of the greatest transitions of growing up. By all means, enjoy them if you do, but I don’t.
Fastfetch is more feature-complete than neofetch and is quite fast. Not sure what numbers you’d be looking at on hardware that old though.
Better go with fastfetch, it might save you a couple days’ runtime.
Sometimes it surprises me seeing programs like this get updates. Screen always felt “finished” to me.

3 yearsIf you’re not working over a VPN, it may be your ISP trying to stop you from torrenting. Otherwise I have no guesses unfortunately.

Yeaaaah, they may be the biggest consumers, but they’re not users and they’re not terribly useful to users. I’m not changing everything around to make some LLM spit out more easily believed misinformation.
