I’m IP banned. doesn’t matter if it’s a new email, or device. I’ve tried many times and my accounts always get banned within 48 hrs. I haven’t tried getting a new modem yet, cause I don’t care that much about reddit.

Gamers are the worst. I love video games, but i stay as far away from the fandoms as I’m able.

According to the prior explanation, they already had labels. ADHD, Autism, etc. But now it’s all lumped into “Neurodiverse” or whatever. Sounds like someone trying to impersonalize others. “oh just lump them all together”.

I could see your point in something like IT that changes as rapidly as it does. There are other fields out there that don’t really change much in the past 20-30 years. But good for you.

I was often accused of being a bot on Reddit. Not sure really why. Though to be fair, the majority of my interactions on Reddit were arguing with people that thought they knew more than I did about a field I’ve worked in for 20+ years.

You can state scientifically accurate facts. You can state quotes from places mods seem to revere, but if they contradict “The Narrative” ™, you’ll get banned. It’s the worst.

Mods on Reddit are power hungry basement dwellers. I’m glad you got out. They do nothing but stifle conversations and turn the cesspool that is reddit into more and more of an echo chamber. I’ve had so many accounts banned for simply trying to have a conversation that didn’t fit the “narrative”. It’s shocking how much so little power goes to people’s heads.
