PoE needs to be more prevalent, IMO. When Smlight came out with the SLZB I jumped on it. Not only does it give me options for where to place it in my house, but it also allows me to make HA more resilient on my Proxmox cluster because it isn’t tied to a single node with USB passthru.

I know that this probably is an edge case and that the HA team wants to make things easier with the HA green and HA yellow so USB still makes sense, but if this or the SWA-2 had PoE as an option, it would have been a no brainer.

100% agree. This feels like more of a learning tool to me. See how compose files are structured, maybe combine it with some documentation and start branching out from there.

DCM looks somewhat interesting, I’m not sure I have a use case for it between proxmox helper scripts and the “Docker run to Docker compose converter” in it-tools, but I always like messing with new containers so I might spin up DCM just to see if there’s a use for me.

I also find it a little funny that DCM is a docker container that you have to copy a compose file from the documentation to launch when that is the exact use case they are saying you can avoid by using it.

Did you change the native VLAN to IoT or just added the tag and left the native VLAN on the switch port set to default? You should be able to change the native VLAN and leave tagged VLANs as “allow all”.

My only other thought is how did you isolate the IoT network and are you able to access other devices from default to IoT?

I’ve had it running for a few months, I don’t use it that often but it’s been super handy when I need it.

I just downloaded voyager, it has swipe actions. I’m still using sync, but I’m always looking for alternatives.

I did this as well, I still have 2 pihole instances running with gravitysync for now, but AGH sync is much easier to setup and maintain. My 2 pihole instances are running for my guest network only and AGH is running everything else.

I ran HA on mine for a while before I moved it to a VM. Right now I’m using my Pi as a secondary wireguard VPN in case my primary is down for some reason.

Also, quick tip, I found that ikea zigbee bulbs work really well but have really bad coil whine when off, don’t use them for bedside lighting.

This was my first thought as well. This isn’t a replacement for portainer agents on mulitple docker hosts, hopefully that’s something that is doable in the future.
