Taxis and hotels used to be strongly regulated industries. For both, permits were required as well as regular checks. But Uber/Lyft/Airbnb created a system outside of the standard legal framework, allowing them to run an almost lawless business. So I wouldn’t say illegal but ethically grey.

The pycharm AI integration completes each line. That’s very useful when you are repeating a well known algorithm and not distracting when you are doing something unusual. So overall, for small things AI is a speed up. I haven’t tried asking chatgpt for bigger coffe chunks, I haven’t had the greatest experience with it up to now and ii don’t want to spend more time debugging than I am already.

Lol! My mum still asks both me and my husband (“techy” jobs according to her) to solve all her problems with computers/printers/ the internet at large/ any app that doesn’t work… the list is endless. I take it as a statement of how proud she is of me that she would still ask us first, even if we haven’t succeeded in fixing a single issue since the time the problem was an old cartridge in the printer some 5-6 years ago.
