If you go to the modcoord subreddit, that is not the case everywhere. There have been several posts from mods complaining that their numbers are down, and they’re spending all their time modding to combat bot accounts. Reddit recently implemented a social credit score as well that not even mods can access. And they were vague as hell about what would make your score high/low.

Yes. Do what r/afip is doing and coordinate pixel pushes. Every 5 minutes the whole server works together and places their pixels at the same time. They also coordinate by months: Jan-June and July-Dec. Check out their server if you want better coordination.

Oh I was just informing people. A lot of people think that the CEO decides the direction of the company when that is rarely the case. I’ve been done with Reddit since June 11, I’m just here to watch it burn.
Also, firing spez does nothing because this wasn’t spez’s decision.
If you look at the history of Reddit’s API, it had a fee until spez became CEO again and made it free. This was when the 3PA took off.
Being the CEO does not mean that you get to actually make major decisions for the company. Think of the CEO as the face of the board of directors. They are the ones that approve/deny major changes.
You want the board changed, not spez.
There actually were no bots on Reddit when it first went online (were bots a thing in 05?). But Alexis and Steve both admitted to having multiple accounts to post links for those first few weeks to make it seem like there were more users than there actually were. Remember back when it first went online all you could do was post news articles. No comments, gifs, pics, or subreddits. It wasn’t until someone created Imgur for the express purpose of being able to post pictures on Reddit that you were able to do so.
