Actually, this town has more than enough room for the two of us

MFs don’t appreciate proper wizardry anymore 😤

Capitalism, and the profit motive. Pretty clear.
Fallout: New Vegas, with mods, is one game I always return to. Same with Borderlands 2. They never get old, for me!
For general games with very happy and uplifting messages, Outer Wilds, In Stars and Time and Celeste are wonderful experiences.
Not a software engineer, but work closely with them in a different field. This is 100% common, especially for junior devs.
My honest advice is to push with it and truly spend some time in the field, and if you hate it, then leave without regrets. However, know that the initial bump is the hardest, over time it gets easier and you’ll even likely find yourself doing side projects on your own time!
Just my 2 cents.
The part where you have to fundamentally understand how hardware actually works, ie how transistors, integrated circuits, and logic gates actually work on a physical level.
You’re thinking of Software Engineering, and even then you’d still be off.
Computer Engineering is hardware engineering for Computers, with some programming. It’s a child of Electrical Engineering, just like Electrical Engineering is sort of a child of Mechanical Engineering.
I get it, haha. I know this is a programmer community, but it’s funny to me to think of programming as a progression beyond traditional engineering disciplines, rather than along side them.
Do you… do you think we don’t have Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineers anymore?
Eh, three arrows isn’t really a good source either. Being against Socialism/Communism (one of the arrows in the 3) is a big red flag for attacking claims of Nazis being Socialist. A much better source would be Blackshirts and Reds by Dr. Michael Parenti.
