Hello, I am building a dashboard where users can add their own user scripts. I at least want to keep the last 100 log lines stored somewhere so that the user can check them later.
I thought of using the backend’s sqlite database but that would slow down the performance of other querys that are much more high priority.

Google has already started to use Rust in their android operating system. Linux started getting Rust stuff. Rust has the speed of C/C++ while having memory safety. Zig does not have the same memory safety as Rust, it’s a mere C/C++ alternative. Does that answer your question?
Then use what you learnt from that tutorial and make something similar or entirely new, without tutorials.
You need to think of things you might want to build. Try building software that nobody ever has, try fixing issues in current software using git. You can find lots of python program in GitHub, waiting for contributions. That’s how I learnt. If you want to learn and use C++, try building software that interacts with the real world with Arduino, try contributing to the Linux kernel or try making simple games using C++ in Godot.
