100% to that my friend.

Its interesting to read that because its exactly the same things being pushed in the west. There is some kind of agreement being played out in my opinion. Setting the stage for splitting up things between them.
In the mean time, ordinary people like you and me are just people, having much more incommon with eachother than those so called leaders.

Seems like the leaders are itching to start a large scale war. Positioning themselves to grab control over oil and other forms of energy.

Awesome.
Living in Russia, im super curious about that. How is daily life? People support Putin?

I named a lot of my machines hackbox…
Sounds like a Microslop Copilot decision.

Isnt that what the entire YouTube community is doing?
Actually yeah, I didnt think of that but commodore 64 was my first computer. Its actually incredible the things it could do without any cooling or fan, and tiny graphics chip…
When I was young, older people thought the monitor was the computer and had no idea there was a chassi under the desk connected to it. :)
Yeah the agreement for me was always that i wont need any support from the company for my Linux, and I never did.
If you know Linux, it will just work. I had to use the web version of office and teams sometimes, but that worked ok during meetings.

Or, windows 11 doesnt support my system. Not my problem.
Its actually interesting how they phrased it so that our systems are the problem and not their product.
Probably yeah. Ive done the same and said no to jobs where I couldnt use Linux. I didnt even want mac at that time, because 70% of the fun of the job was using Linux and native tools there.
Its not really strange. We are using our computers to do our job and we think its fun, so being forced to use a different platform ruins a lot of the fun.
First thing i thought of, but yeah, most devs today have never held a disk like that.
Why do i always gets so extreamly nostalgic every time something from the 80s and 90s are posted… I guess everyone is like that, stuff from their childhood remains loved.
I think also because it was a fresh field, nobody knew IT so it was exciting. It was like a small interest, similar to collecting stamps or something.
Back when girls in Hollywood were actually beautiful. :)
I guess it would have ran on Unix but I imagine it would just have been remaining a server operating system and probably with some expensive licence fees as well.

For me, its been the year of Linux on the desktop for like 10 years… :)

Im so surprised that the most powerful big tech companies are not there to do the right thing.
Writing code but never seen the thing the code runs inside of…
I guess they are not very curious.
Yeah I know, I think junior developers have a hard time today. Not sure how to learn without writing the code yourself.
Sam Altman wants funding right?
Here is an idea. I would pay 1000 dollars to get in a boxing ring with this guy, and probably a lot of other people would love to get a shot at that punchable face, no?
We have solved funding.
