Is there any chance we’ll see another paid premium tier that only removes ads? I really don’t want another subscription, but I also can’t justify $100 just to remove ads.

I have to admit though that the 21€ it’s showing me as the price for removing ads is quite the ask.
For an app that I use a few times a week for like 10 minutes I can’t really justify that with, unfortunately.

For those of us who used sync for reddit regularly for years, it’s pretty cheap. But if it doesn’t fit your needs, thankfully you have plenty of other options these days!

Uhhhh how could you have used Sync for Lemmy for years (it was just released)? Unless you mean Sync for reddit? Also the latter was much cheaper.

Cheaper, on a platform with a lot more users, and under different economic conditions.

That’s fine, there are quite a few nice apps for Lemmy that you can use

21€ is like 3 beers in a bar where I live, or two packs of smokes. One delivery of fast food to your doorstep.
For me, no ads on an app I use a few hours a week, so say a few hundred hours a year, especially an app of this quality? Easy purchase.

It’s already there. Tap on the profile icon in the top left corner, then tap “remove ads”.
