Please put an NSFW tag on this. I was on the train and when I saw this I had to start furiously masturbating. I have no idea what this is about, but after reading a bunch of the comments, I’m really excited about it! Now I know how dogs feel when they don’t understand anything, but their people are all excited, so they’re excited too.

Sync for Reddit was a very popular 3rd party client for Reddit, as it had a lot of great features and an amazing design.
Now that 3rd party apps are gone, the dev is making a Lemmy version, and everybody is hyped up for when it comes out.

Sync was a godsend for Reddit, used it daily and honestly can’t wait to give the Lemmy flavour a try!

Memmy is very good, I’ve been using it as my main. Thunder also looks promising, testing that out now. Wefwef is nice but has no compact view so I haven’t used it much. It’s impressive how well it works for being a web app, but I need a compact view to actually use it.

I’m using Thunder for Android right now. Sync might eventually take over my Lemmy time, but Thunder is a seriously impressive Flutter app.

There has been a test flight version of Sync for Reddit for a while. I still have it on my account, but not sure how updated it really is vs Android.
So maybe iOS eventually does get Sync for Lemmy as well
