It’s because Reddit Mods, all of them, are spineless shills that are SO terrified of pissing off Reddit admins and losing their unpaid jobs/power trips. that’s all it is. they’re all the same. every. single. one. of them.
I mean. That’s because there was a ton who weren’t so reddit when through and kicked them out of mod teams. That’s a large part of why reddit is so much worse these days

You can’t separate spaceflight from politics. Everything about it is political. The people who claim they “don’t want to hear about politics” just don’t want to hear about opposing viewpoints.
