New thing from neal.fun. I got stuck at the rhythm game (level 47) so apparently I’m a robot…

Since it took me an unreasonably long time:
Waldo is
Two squares below the sea and about 3/4 of the way to the right.
Where the hell is the guitar cat?

The first one is genuinely impressive
I thought it’s just a matter of colour count, but maybe you need more loops? Mine had more loops, I think, and after third colour it passed
- 9 months
I tried sketching with the entire pallet, loops and lines, total coverage… Nothing works!
I channeled my inner Bob Ross on the first one.
- 9 months
I did a bit on a few. The clouds on the Bob Ross for example and in others.

Hmm. I did something pretty basic, and it worked once I used all the tools and a couple colours.
There’s some kind of irony here. It’s a game about the weird tortured ways we try to distinguish humanity, and it can’t distinguish real art from my rushed doodle.
- 9 months
I drew a crude stick figures, used all the tools, four colors, and it took it!

“Used all the tools”
So I flipped to Landscape on my phone and the paintbrush appeared… After adding a stroke it worked.
- 9 months
Aha! That totally makes sense. My phone has a super big screen hahaha
Quick edit: I didn’t notice the lack of a paintbrush in your screenshots! Also excellent art skills.

9 monthsBasically I just used trial and error on that one. It uses a strict definition of vegetable, no tomatoes for example. Potato head counts as a vegetable.
- 9 months
Yeah, reading other comments, apparently it doesn’t matter if you select that one or not
- 9 months
Non-fruity parts of an annual plant (and that strange guy obviously).
- 9 months
Oh, thanks… But I just want to say that your description isn’t clear about corn.
It’s not hard to try that one out, but for what purpose would people put a word like that in a language?
- 9 months
Corn, at least the part we usually eat, are the seeds, i.e. the fruit, of the plant.
- 9 months
Lol, I just got it to work with the grapes included, so they’re optional too. I guess because they’re seedless?
- 9 months
No, I just checked again. It’s just carrots, onions and Potato Head who are vegetables.
Edit: Either corn or potato head are indeed optional!

I’m surprised that Tic Tac Toe is even winnable. There is always a perfect strategy to force a draw.

I didn’t think it allows diagonal, because it wasn’t the case for me, that’s evil 🌚
your solution was

Also reverse.
Then again, it’s always be the same solution rotated, translated and maybe flipped.

Luckily you get more queens as you fail.
I only needed five to win. 😓
JRaccoon@discuss.tchncs.deEnglish
9 monthsRight there with you. I wonder what the required accuracy% is, after many tries I can do around 80% but that’s not enough
- lad@programming.devEnglish9 months
For me it says 85 is needed, and it seems to stop once I fall below 80%, so it always ends on 80% exactly
Edit: OK, I’m not sure if it becomes easier over time, like when chess pieces become queens, but I managed to beat it with 87%
Little8Lost@lemmy.worldEnglish
9 monthsIt becomes easier over time because you develop skill. And i think after starting the first ones where it feels like one mistake can make you loose fails on later ones do less damage
- lad@programming.devEnglish9 months
I mean, skill somewhat helps, but it definitely feels like the challenge cuts a little more slack. I don’t particularly believe in my skill growing this much 🤣
- hperrin@lemmy.caEnglish9 months
I got like 82% on my first try. Then 85% on my second. Just barely human.
- 9 months
How the fuck… Do you play rhythm games regularly? I can see that one being very easy for someone who does
HatchetHaro@pawb.socialEnglish
9 monthsi almost gave up on it.
then i just decided to talk to it in cantonese and that worked.
- 9 months
You mean the “have a conversation” task?
I guess using a different language might be the right play. After lots of failed attempts I talked to it im german and passed within 4 messages.

As a mathematician I cannot be bothered to solve level 34. Guess I am a robot
